01. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. We also use similar technologies such as browser localStorage. Throughout this policy "cookies" refers to all such storage.
On ctrlops.io, two groups are always on: strictly necessary items the site cannot work without, and the product experience analytics we use to keep improving CtrlOps. Everything else, including marketing analytics and live chat, stays off until you allow it on the consent banner.
02. Strictly Necessary
These store your consent preferences and basic session state. They cannot be disabled because the site would not function without them.

03. Product Experience (Always On)
Our own Mixpanel project, hosted in the EU. It records which pages and features are used and where the site breaks, which is how we decide what to fix and what to build next. We use it only to improve CtrlOps, and it stays on so the product keeps getting better for you.
It does not follow you across other websites and is not used for advertising.

04. Marketing Analytics
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, used to understand which campaigns and channels bring people here. Loaded only after you opt in.

07. Managing Your Choices
You can change your consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer or via the button below. Marketing analytics and live chat can be switched on or off there; strictly necessary and product experience items are always on and shown as such.
You can also clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings; the consent banner will appear again on your next visit. If you want us to stop processing your product usage data entirely, email us and we will handle it.
